I am planning on riding on Sunday if anyone wants to join me. Easy on routes, although we will have a gentle wind from the NE, so happy to ride North.

Hope to see you Sunday.

I am thinking of tagging along on this one. I think the route goes through Bassingbourn and past my house, so I will pick it up there, if you give me some idea what time, I will be waiting at the end of my street. Hope to see you all on Saturday.

Hi, weather looks ok for a 2 hour ride tomorrow, well it looks 🤞 dry anyway, and I will be riding tomorrow if anyone fancies joining me.

Was thinking of:

38 miles with a vast portion of it as a tailwind hopefully!

Hope to see you tomorrow at Mica at 9am.

Cheers Baz

Hi all, some of you may have already met my son, Sam Piggott, when he took the Nutrition class for us a year or so ago.
Sam is now a fully qualified masseuse, specialising in Holistic massage and Sports massage, and who doesn't enjoy a massage every now and then anyway, but add in the cycling miles, and the legs really do benefit from one!!
He is currently offering RCC members a 50% discount on a full hours massage of your choice. Usual price and subsequent massages would be £30 per hour, so if you are interested, please message him on 07982 666214 or email spiggottfitness@gmail.com and mention you are a member of RCC and he will book you in.

Sam is fully Covid19 compliant, and will travel to you so you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

Enjoy...Barry P

I am out this Sunday.....first club ride since March!! So a little rusty on where we meet etc now, so if someone could confirm where fast group meets?

Easy on routes, but wind is looking strong from NW, so suggest we ride into it and then get a nice tailwind back, so suggest M6 or M10?  Not sure what routes have been done recently, but happy to do whatever.

Cheers

The festive RCC "Tinsel" Saturday special is to Grantchester Meadows, which gives us the opportunity to offer a long, medium and short route, to cater for all abilities and speeds.

If we plan to meet at Mica at 8.30 am. Weather at present is looking murky but dry, and around 6c, with a moderate southerly.

Longer route is just short of 60 miles, with cafe stop at around 35 miles https://www.strava.com/routes/18884734

Medium route is about 40 miles, with cafe stop at around 15 miles, but you can reverse this route and make it around 25 miles https://www.strava.com/routes/7567085  (actually M7 from the route bank)

Shorter route is about  30 miles, with cafe stop at midway point https://www.strava.com/routes/7567552
(actually S14 from Route bank)

If you could post on forum your interest in coming, and which group you would prefer to join, then we can have an idea of the numbers and the groups that will be out.

Merry Xmas everyone!

Hi all,

Some of you may know my twin boys, Sam & Ryan, they have taken the fitness & nutrition class, and also led the inaugural spin classes when held at Bassingbourn Village College.

Well, they are taking on a 7 triathlons in 7 days challlenge https://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons3/w00t.png
, against each other, based at Nuffield Health in Letchworth,  at the end of Oct19, raising money for the MIND charity.

If anyone would like to get involved or donate, then this is their site:
