I am currently reading the Book - Lanterne Rouge, which delves into the history of those racers that finish last on the Tour de France. I will be happy to lend it to anyone in the club that would like to read it for themselves (once I have finished!!).

Are you aware that if you have a paid Strava premium account, that you can sign up for a free insurance policy that covers you for:-
*£30.00 taxi fare if you have a mechanical issue while out riding.
*£350.00 of device cover if damaged
The insurance policy is free and lasts for one year. Will need to be reactivated after 12 months.
Worth considering this if you have a paid account, I think. go to your account and look through the explore button until you see subscriber perks.

Last year, myself, Lorna, Mick, Nannie, Steve youngs and Alan took part in the Baldock Cycle Challenge.
We were among the 220 riders taking part and among the 150 that did both loops - cycling over 50 miles through Baldock, Therfield, Wallington, Litlington, Bygrave, Hinxworth and Caldecote.
Would anyone be interested in doing it this year?

Hi guys - Not sure what the plan/route is for Sunday but i will probably not be riding. Still have the remnants of a cold and breathing is not as it should be.
Don't forget that Sunday is Remembrance Sunday so there may be some route restrictions around 11:00 am

I am interested in the shorter ride. 35/36 miles is the most I have ridden in one go (did this with the 15mph group a few weeks ago). Definately not looking for a fast paced ride out.
P.S. not been to either suggested locations,
