Saturday 17th August - two options and a new cafe stop

Many of us like the route up and around to Grafham but wanted to find a new cafe stop and so this month we're trying out Edible Ornamentals  ( https://www.chilliranch.co.uk/store/c1/Featured_Products.html ) which has been recommended by friends from the Hitchin Nomads. The  route for the 74 mile round trip is here https://www.strava.com/routes/20535783  We would like to give the cafe some idea of numbers so please do post if you're likely to ride.

If there's a group wanting a shorter option there's the Stove cafe at Bourn. The route for this 47 mile ride is here https://www.strava.com/routes/9366989

As usual it's an 8am start from outside Mica for both rides. See you Saturday.

Re: Saturday 17th August - two options and a new cafe stop

Having missed a ride last weekend with illness I am looking forward to this. Don’t mind which which route I do, but I would like to be back by 1230??

Thanks
Andrew

Re: Saturday 17th August - two options and a new cafe stop

Hi all - I’m a newbie and I’m looking forward to meeting fellow cyclists at RCC on Saturday 17th. I have been cycling for 2 years and really enjoy it. I live in Duxford and support Derby County !
I would rather start with the shorter cycling route !  This is my first cycle since joining in RCC June - see you on Saturday

Welcome along MattP. There should be a handful of us on for Bourn Stove (that's the shorter ride) on Saturday and we'll see you then.

Re: Saturday 17th August - two options and a new cafe stop

I am planning to be out (unless the weather changes).  Was up for the Grafham ride, but if the majority is going for Bourn that's good for me too.

Looks like we'll have two groups, one for Bourn and one for Grafham. (It's Grafham for me.)

Re: Saturday 17th August - two options and a new cafe stop

I’m hoping to make it. Probably the short route this time.   I’ll loiter in Kneesworth.

Re: Saturday 17th August - two options and a new cafe stop

Richard, I hope to be +2 but the distance will depend on how my son feels because it’s his first ride after dislocating his shoulder a few weeks ago. Is it 8:00am at Mica? Thanks. Tim
