Well, weather looks damp with a westerly wind, but I cannot go another weekend without a ride!! So, proposing Barley8 laps, faster guys should be able to do 2.5 laps at least, then either, head to Dobbies at Melbourn via Flint Cross (that’s what I am doing) or head back to Royston via black barn.
Route should be around 37 miles.
Hope to see you in the morning.

Barry, please could you post the route for those (like me) who don't know the Barley 8. Ta.

Apologies, this is Barley8, 13 miles and takes around 40-50mins depending on how you ride it, KOM is 35 mins!! So, 2 circuits works out around 26 miles, 2.5 circuits works out around 34 miles. So, depending on speed, you can go straight back to the Bull, oro carry on to FlintCross and then to Dobbies for coffee/cake/bacon roll?

I too cannot manage another weekend without a ride!
The 8 route suggested looks great but does not go from the Bull so suggest we group there and do a couple of laps.
Given the weather I see us mortals doing 2 laps and retreating to the Bull for shelter. Happy to go to Debbie’s afterwards if that’s more popular?

Happy to give this a go (2 laps hopefully..or can cut a tad off) if weather not too foul and other medium rares are up for this.

Hi Andrew,Yes we start at the Bull, was just showing what Barley8 was, but then ride to it and can finish there or ride to Dobbies

Confirming that as long as it's not raining or too windy, I'll be down on Market Hill at the usual time (or as soon as it's stopped raining) to ride anywhere (Barley 8?) at MR pace.
