Any tips on getting a rear cassette off that just won't budge.
I've got the right tools for the jobs and have found it easy enough in the past.
Am using chain whip and large spanner. Tried a hammer on the spanner too, but am scared of doing some damage.
My male pride will be mortally wounded if I have to admit defeat and take it to a bike shop. ;-)

Bigger hammer and WD40.

Perhaps a 'cheater bar' for more leverage?

Thanks guys - I think both might help. It does seem dirty and gritty, so I'll add some WD40 and leave it for the day to work, I'll see if my neighbour has a longer wrench, to get a bit more leverage.

P.s. I like the new bike idea, but Mrs M may not go for it ;-)
